An addition to your summer PR podcast lineup

I hope you and your family are doing well and that you're having a great summer so far!

It's been a while since I've sent out a newsletter (did you miss me??). The first half of the year really had me hopping, delivering a ton of media training sessions around the province. Now that the dog days of summer are here, I've had a chance to catch my breath and recharge the batteries a bit. Hopefully you've had that chance (or will have it soon) as well.

I don't know if you're a big podcast fan like me, but if you are, I wanted to let you know about the PR podcast I've been putting out with my long-time friend John Perenack. It's called Reputation Town and we just published episode #46 a few minutes ago. It's a show dedicated to breaking down recent news stories from a communications/issues management perspective. In this week's episode, we talk about the fallout after the attempted assassination of former President Trump, the Crowdstrike outage, the drone/spying scandal hitting the Cdn Olympic women's soccer team, the wrap-up of the LCBO strike and a few others.

So, whether you're sitting on a dock enjoying a cold beverage, chilling on an airplane at 35,000 feet or doing your daily commute, pls consider giving it a listen and, if you like it, consider adding it to your regular podcast lineup. And for those of you in the PR or media businesses, if you have a topic you'd like us to cover or if you'd like to be a guest on the pod, pls let me know and we can talk about setting it up! You can listen to the latest episode here.

Thanks very much and I hope you have a great rest of the summer! 🙂

Everyone knows executives and entrepreneurs who are super hard-core about self improvement. They pursue post-grad studies. They go on retreats, read books, listen to business podcasts, attend conferences, practice intermittent fasting, cold plunges, yoga. They're always looking for a hack. An edge. Something to help them level up 1%. Something that will make them smarter, better prepared, more successful. Many of these leaders share a common vulnerability. They don't know how to prepare for...

I was doing a media training session last week when the CEO popped into the room and said, "I haven't seen one of your emails in a while." Aww, I didn't think anyone had noticed! I do apologize for the lack of content of late. My media training schedule has kept me on the move over the past few months. So, let's do a little catch-up, shall we? Your best messages are in the friendzone In the world of romance, the friendzone is the last place anyone wants to be. But when you're trying to write...

I hope you're doing well and that you're having a great summer so far! With any luck, you're on a beach, at a cottage or hanging out with family and friends this week. Anyway, this is just a quick heads-up about two new podcast interviews I published in the past week that I thought you might enjoy, since they're with experts in the marketing and communications worlds. The first is a conversation with Ron Tite. He's a keynote speaker, author and the founder of marketing agency Church+State. We...
